Planting Moscato Bianco rootstock
It is a truly exciting time! We are planting the young vines of Moscato Bianco in our new vineyard. A few days ago, we treated the soil as part of the final phase, working it at no more than 10 cm below the surface. This phase acts as a sort of refinement for the surface of the soil and is a practice aimed at creating "flaky" and less compact soil in order to accommodate the new vines. The next steps are defining the boundaries, understanding the measurements and orientation of the vineyard, maintaining a minimal impact on our hills, and creating the most hospitable environment possible for the vines.
